Camerawork in the sequence is a strong aspect. One shot (path) is very controlled for handheld and almost like a crane shot. the other handheld work (circling around the sitting man) is effective and some of your framing is very good. Jump cuts in the second half of the sequence are a little strange and it is not cleasr what effect you intended to create with them. Well done.

Shooting!

We Shot our footage on Site. We managed to capture our footage over two lessons, this gave us an advantage in the editing side of the task, as we were able to get a head start on our editing.
We captured more than 8 minutes of footage, this is good as our opening sequence only has to be 1.5 minutes, which means we have a huge choice of clips to choose from.
Whilst filming, we didn't get any trouble from authorities or teachers, this helped us because we were really able to film exactly what we wanted.
We didn't encounter any problems during filming, only the usual problems with the set, for example the lighting was different in different in many of the locations. We got over this by trying to find the places on site that had the same lighting, we managed to get a lot of locations that had the same lighting, for example: When we were filming in the woods, the lighting was quite dark but when we needed to film outside we had to wait for it to get a bit darker so that it looked as if it was at the same time. Also People walking in the shot whilst we were filming, this meant that we had to keep redoing each shot over and over again, to get it perfect.

Many people believed that the fade-in fade-out effect of the photos was good as it made it more confusing and disorientated.
Other people thought that the flickering of this fade-in fade-out effect built the tempo of the openeing sequence and made you feel on edge.

This is our animatic sequence for our thriller. We decided to make our anamatic like this because the previous animatics we have seen have given us inspiration to make a simple yet effective animatic. it is important to do an animatic becuase it gives us an impressionable idea of what to do in our final piece.
